This property describes the eagerness with which attendees load up on tickets. It takes three values.

What you buy
A ticket gets you:
- Access to the conference
- Coffee, tea, lunch
- Drinks and a bite on both evenings
- Free access to the conference videos
- Free, live access to the best performance community in the world
Tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer them to someone else. We expect all our attendees to be aware of our code of conduct.
You may not use performance.now() tickets as a prize in or a part of any promotion or sweepstakes without our permission. We'll void such tickets without reimbursement.
VAT
Since the conference is taking place in The Netherlands, 21% Dutch VAT will be added to all ticket prices.
Article 53 of the European VAT directive requires us to charge VAT even to foreigners:
"B2B services in respect of admission to cultural, artistic, sporting, scientific, educational, entertainment and similar events will be taxed at the place where those events actually take place."
Visa
Obtaining a short-stay (up to 90 days) Schengen visa may take up to a month, especially if you haven't applied for one previously. We advise you to start the visa application process no later than early October.
One thing you'll need for your application is an invitation letter from us.
- Order and pay for your conference ticket.
- Let us know that you need a Schengen visa. We will send you an invitation letter.
- If your visa is rejected, send us proof of that rejection. We'll reimburse your ticket. However, this offer ends on 1st of November.
ETIAS
It is likely that by the time the conference comes around, the EU ETIAS travel authorisation system is active. It is similar to the US ETA and other non-visa entrance systems.
Nationals who don’t require a visa will have to fill out an ETIAS application online. The process is likely to be rather quick in most cases.
Most applicants will receive their ETIAS travel authorisation within minutes, but in some cases the process may take up to 30 days.
Note that the ETIAS isn’t in force at the moment of writing, and an exact starting date isn’t yet known. It’s also relevant to note that ETIAS was supposed to start in late 2025, and I think also in late 2024.
